This music video shows Madonna witnessing a murder of a girl by white supremacists. However, a black man is arrested for the murder and Madonna hides in a church for safety trying to encourage herself to go forth as a witness.

The music video is also controversial as it shows an African American Jesus and shows footage of Madonna standing in front of burning crosses. The Pope at the time, Pope John Paul II encouraged fans to boycott the singer in Italy as a way to show Madonna that showing anti-Christian images are offensive and are not correct, according to Christians and the Catholic church.

Music Video From The Last Two Years - Radiohead: “Burn the Witch

The music video itself is in a similar style to a popular British cartoon television series in a fictional village called Trumptonshire. The music video shows the place to be a normal English village however as the video progresses, it starts to show darker images such as blood, a noose and somebody about to be burnt alive. Radiohead used this video to comment on the consequences of the growing nationalist panic across the world.
